Covid-19 has been around us for 2 years

Today my mum just told me that my aunt (the youngest uncle) was infected with Covid-19.

She went to Government Hospital for routine health checkup, in the end, she had loss of smell & taste. Next, she bought a self test kit to check, it turns out to be positive. She rushed to check in more detail test in clinic. She was confirmed by the clinic that she got Covid-19, needs to be quarantine for 12 days.

When I listened to my mum, a hard feeling was uncovered and I started to check my dad's whereabouts. He always goes out to his loving temple which I am afraid of even during loosen MCO period. MCO stands for Movement Control Order in Malaysia whereas CB - Circuit Breaker in Singapore.

I was just worrying if he will be contacted with someone who had Covid-19 and he has no idea how this can be avoided. As a daughter, I kept educating them to be careful and avoid to go out unnecessarily. However, old folks are totally too bored and don't care about it, they only said who had Covid-19, the number of positive cases kept increasing, in a way they still go out for a reason.

I have a baby who is just 15 months, I am really afraid the baby who is still small enough, can't take this risk to be infected. Am I a nervous mother? I hope I am not.

My son was just discharged from hospital due to virus infection (mycoplasma), he had high fever for almost few days. I should be rational and persistent, not going back to visit my parents ever since they go out for no valid reason.

We should stay at home and safe from Covid-19. If it really comes to us, please stay strong as it's also inevitable.
